Non-emergency patient transport
Our fleet of ambulances are all equipped with ramps and floor tracking to make sure patients are transferred safely and comfortably. And, of course, our vehicles are staffed by experienced, highly trained, uniformed professionals, all of whom have been fully advanced DBS checked.
In addition to general patient transport services, we can offer the following more specialist services:
- Bariatric transport: We offer a specialist bariatric service and are able to transfer patients up to 40 stone (254kg) in weight using the latest in specialist manual handling equipment.
- Mental health transfers: Our staff are experienced in managing vulnerable patients and challenging behaviour safely and with dignity and respect. We work closely with mental health practitioners and our healthcare partners to ensure all patients are transferred safely.
- Palliative and End of Life care transfers: We provide a sensitive, thoughtful and caring service for those receiving palliative care or nearing the end of their life.
